Pour mes vacances, Je descends de la sud de la France chaque année..

This year in France was different, but the wildlife was not. The cows were mooing, the butterflies were fluttering above the lavender as usual, I was being chased off by bees for bothering them with my camera and  it made me realise life does keep going, and the world keeps turning, however many awful things have happened this year.

I am going to show you my lovely photos of Le Roure and the flora and fauna.

First, the beautiful Hummingbird Hawkmoth, I'm so chuffed with these photos!

One day my mum and I went to Perpingnan, and spent a day sitting in cafes and shopping. It was one of the best days.

Olympic Spirit

Ryan and I in Trafalger Square

Me, Ryan and Tom at Hyde Park watching the Olympics. We were rejected from the Olympic  Stadium as we didn't have passes even into the Olympic area (no one told us you had to pay!).

We then trekked to Victoria Park, walked miles along the barriers to get in, get rid of all liquids, aerosols and food only to not be let in because I'm 15 and not allowed in without an adult.. and apparently 17 isn't an adult.

SO, we went to Hyde park around 5, got in at 6 (no problems with age, jobsworths at Victoria Park) and watched the Olympics for the few hours we had there!

St Pancras International

Surprisingly I loved the Olympics, I'd heard so many negatives things and I didn't really care. But the opening ceremony just gave the Olympics such a great start, it was really fab (even the 40ft Voldemort)!
